Who needs a mat?This week I’m sharing a video I recorded in the fall of 2019 with a dear friend. We’re both 7s, but for a long time Michelle thought she might be a 3. She saw a lot of herself in both. You, too, might be confused about your enneagram type, Subscriber First Name, but that’s simply part of the journey. Self-awareness and personal growth cannot be discovered or accomplished in an online quiz. For some people, it takes years to self-identify. Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes recently released a podcast episode about mistyping pitfalls that’s a great listen. You’ll see why Michelle landed on 7 in this week’s post, and you’ll hear us both talk about our relentless drive to discover and enjoy all that people have to offer. It reminds me of this music video by OK GO which brings tears of joy to my eyes and cranks up my heartbeat to ultra-inspired! It’s a visual meditation that exemplifies not building to achieve, but creating a fleeting yet soul-changing moment of sheer beauty. Michelle doesn’t practice yoga much and requested that we simply stretch and chat. So we did, and it was great! The video is roughly half stretching, and even as we’re bending, we continue our conversation. Just because we stop stretching at some point doesn’t mean that you have to! Take a wide-leg v-stretch as you absorb Michelle’s unique 7 perspective. Oh! Footnote: she does end up taking the job that she mentions in this video!
