― John Lubbock, The Use Of Life Those are some wise words from a man who was an accomplished banker, politician, and archaeologist, among other things. Seems like periodic rest worked well for him. This week’s yoga follows that theme. Before this yin practice, I share a story about my body speaking up for itself, no matter what my brain tried to tell it. I also lead us in a brief PT exercise that’s great for strengthening the glutes and hamstrings. Overall, the challenge is to listen to the wisdom stored in your physical being.
