Frequently asked questions.

Why are you combining Yoga + Enneagram?

Both modalities serve to increase awareness of self, which leads to personal growth and ultimately greater ease in the world. In tandem, expanding awareness while moving and stretching the body can unlock hidden emotions and thoughts. The Yenneagram seeks to engage all three centers of intelligence: mind, body, and heart.

I know nothing about the Enneagram and don’t do yoga. Is this still for me?

Yes! If you’re interested, that is. The Yenneagram Intro workshop is a great entry point to both. You might also consider a first-time consultation call to determine if it might be of help for us to work together one-on-one.

Do you teach ongoing Yenneagram Yoga classes online?

Some sample classes and content can be found here.

Do I have to know the Enneagram to take Yenneagram Yoga classes?

Some Enneagram knowledge could be beneficial since I may use terms such as “triad, stance, and stress/security” in the movement-based yoga classes. However, they focus mainly on awareness of breath and the physical practice.

How can I hire you to come teach my group?

First, consider what your group needs: a full day workshop providing comprehensive understanding of the Yenneagram (Intro or Advanced), a movement-based multi-week series of one-hour Yenneagram yoga classes, or a combination of both. Reach out to me on my Contact page, and we can discuss what might serve your organization best.

Before booking, please consider:

Self-work cannot be forced or coerced. My Yenneagram sessions are meant to be safe spaces of shared learning. Not only do I offer my own personal stories, but the experience is made so much richer by participants being open and vulnerable as well. If you hire me to teach your group or organization, I simply ask that all who are in attendance are present fully on their own accord, as opposed to by mandate of an authority figure.
